 Yield: Approximately  24  thin slices; enough for a full recipe of smashed potatoes

Smashed Potatoes with Minted Peas, Filet Mignon & Kale

Ingredients:

 2 ½ pound piece of filet mignon

kosher salt and ground black pepper

1 tablespoon Worcestershire  sauce

1 tablespoon steak sauce

Directions:

Salt and pepper both sides of filet mignon. Mix together the Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce and coat both side of meat. Grill or cook in oven on broil until filet is medium rare. Remove from oven, tent with foil and allow filet to rest for 10-15 minutes, reserving any juices.

Thinly slice entire filet and return to any retained juices. Place one slice on each smashed potato, folding the slice in an accordion style so that it fits on potato
